Based on Company ' s delivery technologies, NCI has the capability to develop and manufacture proprietary skincare products in the forms of creams, essences, lotions, gels, powders, toners, patches, nail lacquers and facial masks. For sensitive skins, the Company is developing unit-dose, preservative-free lotions and creams. While the Company conducted pilot clinical studies in China , the study protocols were designed by US-trained clinical scientists. NCI has established working relations with several internationally known dermatological thought-leaders in the skincare areas, and continues to stride for better improving and extending its products pipeline.
To further reinforce its development capability, NCI has recently established a skincare product design and development laboratory in the Princeton area of New Jersey , USA , which is supported by Company's central analytical and stability service laboratories in China . The US design lab is focused on developing proprietary skincare formulations and dosage forms based on Company's captive Bio-ACTTM and Bio-NANOTM delivery technologies.
The Bio-ACTTM technology is focused on facilitating the delivery of thru the skin and the nail into active sites. On the other hand, Bio-NANOTM technology is incorporating the state-of-art nano-dispersion technology to coordinate the natural active ingredients interacting with penetration enhancers, thereby allowing these natural ingredients of significantly reduced sizes to better penetration thru layers the skin as facilitated by the penetration enhancers. Ultimately, it is designed to enhance the delivery of the active ingredient thru the skin into the active site. Currently under development are new and improved products for treating acne, facial wrinkles, darkened spots and scar tissues on the facial skin, painful joints, hair loss, post-herpetic neuralgia, eye circles, eye bags, facial aging, and others.
Based on Company ' s proprietary technologies, NCI is focused on the development and commercialization of proprietary cosmeceutical products, which incorporate natural ingredients of known pharmacological properties together with penetration enhancers and which exhibit clinical evidence. The Company is seeking strategic partners for alliances in developing NCI's proprietary products in various international markets.
